AIR TRAINING CORPS
NELSON SQUADRON FORMED FIRST PARADE THIS EVENING The Nelson squadron of the New Zealand Air Training Corps has been formed, the Selection Board approving the membership applications of about 40 boys who will commence training for the air crews and technical branches of the R.N.Z.A.F. The first parade will be held this evening. Arrangements have been made to base oart of the training at the Technical School, and accommodation has been sbeured for the physical training of the boys. Club rooms will be established in the city where the boys will have access to Air Force periodicals and where provision will be made for the examination of aircraft models and other forms of service instruction. Flight-Lieutenant C. C. M. Johnston, Headquarters Administration Officer, and Flight-Lieutenant D. C. Inglis, D.C.N., commanding officer of the Wei lington wing of the A.T.C., will visit the Nelson College Squadron of the corps this afternoon and will attend to-night's parade of Nelson Squadron.
